DJ Ta-Shi（ディージェイターシ）は、沖縄県那覇市出身のDJです。1984年に映画「フラッシュダンス」のストリートダンスシーンに感銘を受け、ブレイクダンスを通じてヒップホップカルチャーに出会いました。

1992年には、Vestax DJ Contestや横田基地 DJ Contestなど数々のDJバトルで優勝し、DMC JAPAN FINALでも優勝を果たしました。当時最年少の日本チャンピオンとして数々の賞を総なめにしてきました。

1996年には、日本で最初で最強のターンテーブリスト・チーム「BEAT KNUCKLES」を結成しました。その後、KING OF BEATS JAPANツアーを開催し、1999年にはMISIAの専属ツアーDJを務めました。
