韓国は、1948年の大韓民国政府の樹立以来、多くの大統領が時代ごとの課題に挑み、国を導いてきました。一方で、その多くが、任期後に悲劇的な結末を迎え、国内外で物議を醸すことも、少なくありませんでした。また、韓国と日本の関係は、歴史的な背景や、経済的な結びつきが強い一方で、領土問題や歴史認識の違いから、対立が続いています。今回の授業では、韓国の主な歴代大統領の功績や、課題を振り返りつつ、日韓関係のこれまでの歩みと未来に向けた改善策について考察します。これを通じて、韓国政治の特徴や、両国が目指すべき共存の可能性について、学ぶ機会を提供します。
