豊田 章男（とよだ あきお）は、1956年に愛知県名古屋市で生まれ、トヨタ自動車の現会長兼社長です。南山大学を卒業後、米国バブソン大学でMBAを取得し、1984年にトヨタ自動車に入社しました。
豊田氏は、トヨタ自動車の創業者である豊田喜一郎の孫であり、同社の第14代社長として2009年に就任しました。彼のリーダーシップの下、トヨタは革新的な技術開発と環境への取り組みを推進し、ハイブリッド車「プリウス」や燃料電池車「ミライ」の成功を収めました。
また、豊田氏は「もっといいクルマづくり」を目指し、品質改善や顧客満足度向上に力を入れています。彼の経営哲学は、従業員とのコミュニケーションを重視し、現場主義を貫くことです。特に、2010年の大規模リコール問題では、自らが米国議会での公聴会に出席し、説明責任を果たしました。
