海水浴期間はおおむね7月上旬から8月中旬過ぎごろで、毎年シーズン前に発表されます。また、須磨海水浴場は、「ブルーフラッグ」を取得しています2。ブルーフラッグは、ビーチの持続可能な発展の実現を目指した世界的な環境認証で、須磨海水浴場は美しいビーチを守る活動に取り組んでいます。
