JR舞子駅の海側は、兵庫県立舞子公園で、海を望む広さ 7.8 ヘクタールの都市公園です。

遊歩道、松林などがあり、海釣りスポットにもなっていて、明石大橋と淡路島が一望できる絶景スポットになっています。

明石海峡大橋

明石海峡は、潮流が速く、渦潮が見られることでも有名です。

舞子駅周辺から淡路島をつなぐ、世界最長の吊り橋である明石海峡大橋が、架かっています。

明石海峡大橋は、1998年に開通し、全長3,911m、主塔の高さは298mです。明石海峡のシンボルとして、多くの観光客が訪れています。

六角堂

舞子の六角堂は、兵庫県神戸市垂水区にある洋館です。正式名称は「移情閣」で、中国風の八角形の楼閣です。

1915年に中国革命家・孫文の盟友である呉錦堂によって建てられました。呉錦堂は、この地で海峡の景色を楽しみながら中国の古典を読んでいたと言われています。

現存する日本最古の木骨コンクリートブロック造建築物です。

1984年に国の重要文化財に指定されました。現在は、孫文記念館として一般公開されています。

舞子の浜

舞子の浜は、古くから歌枕として知られており、万葉集にも詠まれています。また、江戸時代には、遊郭が置かれていたこともあり、多くの文人墨客が訪れました。

舞子の浜は、海水浴や潮干狩りなどの海遊びが楽しめる場所です。また、松林が整備されており、散策にも最適です。
