学生に対しては性善説で接する方が良い、というのが先生として5年目の私の考えです。その理由は以下の通りです。
まず、優秀な学生は最初から優秀であり、何を教えてもダメな学生は結果が変わらないということです。
次に、一度疑ったり怒ったりすると、学生との信頼関係が壊れてしまい、修復するのが難しいことです。
最後に、学生は他人であり、彼ら自身が自分の人生を考え、自分で努力を積み重ねなければ変わることができないということです。
そのため、私は学生全体を教えることにこだわらず、やる気のある学生に対して授業を行うことが最善だと考えます。それで十分なのではないでしょうか。
